My name is Ruusa-Magano David, I was born and raised in Namibia. I did my bachelor degree in Information Technology at the Polytechnic of Namibia where I emerged as the best third year student in the programme computer systems and networks in 2011. Before graduation, I joined Telecom Namibia and worked as an intern in a GIS department. I then went on to complete a Master of Science (research) in Geographical Information Technology at Istanbul Technical University in Turkey. I will be going to Durham University to pursue a PhD in Physical Geography. I have been fortunate to be a recipient of a prestigious Commonwealth Scholarship which serve as an important impetus for me to continue research at postgraduate level. My educational pursuits would not be possible without this generous support. I wish to express my utmost gratitude for the opportunity bestowed on me by Commonwealth Scholarship to strive more and more, be it in the sphere of academics, leadership or societal service.
